Mary Bell

September 2024 - November 2024

Hello, I’m Mary Bell, the artist behind WOODmiration. My journey began with a deep connection to nature, inspiring my creative process. I capture the beauty and serenity of the natural world through art, from peaceful landscapes to intricate plants and wildlife. Each piece invites reconnection with the outdoors’ calming rhythms, offering harmony and balance to people’s lives.
Since 2016, I’ve shared my work, striving to evoke peace and connection. While painting is my primary medium, my love for wood continues to shape my art. Explore my nature-inspired creations on my website and social media.
My art is available for purchase. Reach out via my website, phone or email.

Kaelyn Albert

July 2024 - September 2024

Kaelyn Albert is an art education major at Eastern Illinois University who graduates Fall 2024. Born in Decatur, Illinois and is now living in Charleston, Illinois. She likes to paint in oil, watercolor and acrylic the most but dabbles in a little bit of every medium and likes to have multiple mediums in some of her work. Kaelyn expresses herself through these mediums as it is a very comforting process. Most of the pieces she creates do not look like they have meaning from first glance but each has a story to tell of its own. Focusing on using subjects like cats, anime, cartoons, and nostalgic things from her childhood she finds creative freedom to express herself. Nostalgic things like video games (specifically Nintendo), y2k (early 2000s), Sanrio, Hamtaro, cartoons, anime, toys, etc are things she enjoys the most to include in her work at times even though not seen in every piece here today.
Art has always been there for her and she hopes through the art of teaching she can help spread the joy of creativity through the next many generations to come.
